This Privacy Policy explains how KC TalkBoard collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the app, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Information We Collect

KC TalkBoard only collects data necessary to support its basic functionality:

  • Anonymous Access: An anonymous identifier is generated to enable access to core app features without requiring personal information.
  • Local Storage: Preferences (such as keyboard layout or space key configuration) are saved on your device.
  • Internet Access: Required to enable access, check subscription status, and validate in-app purchases.
  • Billing Metadata: We collect non-personal purchase information such as feature access and expiration dates to manage subscriptions or one-time purchases.

We do not collect personally identifiable information, contact data, microphone, camera, or location information. KC TalkBoard does not currently use analytics, crash reporting, or advertising services.

2. How Information Is Used

The information collected is used strictly to:

  • Enable anonymous access to KC TalkBoard;
  • Store and apply your settings;
  • Verify and manage your purchase status.

Your information is not used for advertising, marketing, profiling, or shared with third parties.

3. Data Storage and Security

  • All user settings and preferences are stored locally on your device.
  • Anonymous identifiers may be used to manage session continuity.
  • KC TalkBoard data is secured within standard iOS and Android app environments; no additional encryption or access control is applied beyond those provided by the device’s operating system.

4. Billing and Subscriptions

KC TalkBoard offers in-app purchases and optional subscriptions through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. These stores manage all payment processing.

  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds: We do not offer refunds directly. All refund requests and billing inquiries must be made through Apple or Google, in accordance with their respective policies.
  • Billing Information: KC TalkBoard does not collect or store your payment details. All transactions are handled securely by the app store provider.

5. Third-Party Services

KC TalkBoard does not currently integrate any third-party SDKs for analytics, ads, or crash reporting. The app functions without collecting or transmitting personal data to third parties.

6. Children’s Privacy

KC TalkBoard is designed for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect data from children as defined under applicable laws. As no personal data is collected, no parental consent mechanisms are required.

7. User Controls

  • Uninstalling KC TalkBoard will delete all locally stored data.
  • There are no in-app features for exporting or manually deleting stored preferences.
  • There is no need to manage opt-in or opt-out controls since we do not track users or serve ads.

8. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. Changes may be posted via a support site or app store listing. At this time, the app does not include in-app policy notifications.
